Your Treatment Plan

adjustment3After your initial examination, the doctor will determine what area needs attention and focus his adjustment to a specific site, typically along your spine.

The adjustment is given with a quick precision maneuver to realign the segments which were found to be "subluxated" or out of position. This procedure is generally rather quick and painless.

The results may sometimes be noticed immediately following the adjustment. Some experience a "lightness" or feeling of euphoria. These feelings demonstrate the nerve paths, or channels being opened up so that the nerve impulses may once again travel without interference.

The chiropractic "adjustment" may be combined with other therapies if necessary.  This therapy may include: EMS (electric muscle stimulation), ultrasound, heat, massage or intersegmental traction.
